James' Resilience Cafe Reflection

In my opinion, I think that I was exceeding the expectations for the Resilience Café Project. I think that I deserve an A, because I didn’t wait until the last minute to do my art piece. I did it during the first couple of weeks that the project was assigned to us. It took me a whole day to accomplish, but in my opinion, the final product was very good.

When I had to present my art piece I thought that I could have done a little bit better at coming on time. I think that the only thing that I did wrong was come in late. Other than that, I thought that I did a good job at presenting it to the parents/6th graders. Whenever they had a question, I was there to answer it for them. I also thought that I did a good job at setting up the Resilience Café, by putting the tables out in the main commons. I also helped put up some of the art pieces on the tables.

The thing that I did that made me most proud of was my art piece. I think that it was a good idea to pain Lance Armstrong and James Braddock on both sides of a canvas. I also think that it was cool to put a bicycle tire around the canvas to represent Lance Armstrong. I also painted the tire yellow to also represent Lance Armstrong. I also put each of their quotes on the rim of the tire. To wrap things up, I think that this project was pretty fun to do and I would recommend doing it again next year.

Reflection

In my music piece I believe that I exceeded the learning of understanding the compile, record, and marketing process that one must go through to be successful.

I think that I deserve an "A" because I did everything on time and helped others to the best of my ability. I turned in my lyrics and beats and etc. all of which were on time, and were quality work.

I disciplined myself enough to practice in front of smaller groups and classmates prior to the night of Resilience Cafe'. It better prepared myself for the big final presentation. Finally, the night of, I did very well, at least I thought I did. I did well because of that extra practice and preparedness. Therefore, I deserve an "A" on this portion.

My writing was polished and ready for publication after just a few drafts all of which were turned in on time and ready for critiques. In the end, I deserve an overall "A".
