James' Resilience Cafe Reflection

In my opinion, I think that I was exceeding the expectations for the Resilience Café Project. I think that I deserve an A, because I didn’t wait until the last minute to do my art piece. I did it during the first couple of weeks that the project was assigned to us. It took me a whole day to accomplish, but in my opinion, the final product was very good.

When I had to present my art piece I thought that I could have done a little bit better at coming on time. I think that the only thing that I did wrong was come in late. Other than that, I thought that I did a good job at presenting it to the parents/6th graders. Whenever they had a question, I was there to answer it for them. I also thought that I did a good job at setting up the Resilience Café, by putting the tables out in the main commons. I also helped put up some of the art pieces on the tables.

The thing that I did that made me most proud of was my art piece. I think that it was a good idea to pain Lance Armstrong and James Braddock on both sides of a canvas. I also think that it was cool to put a bicycle tire around the canvas to represent Lance Armstrong. I also painted the tire yellow to also represent Lance Armstrong. I also put each of their quotes on the rim of the tire. To wrap things up, I think that this project was pretty fun to do and I would recommend doing it again next year.
